Summary:
This position will be the CI IT ATS Middleware technical lead for the CI Documentum platform. The candidate will be responsible for reporting to all levels of management as well as providing education to CI IT ATS Middleware on the technical aspects of Documentum. The candidate will be providing consulting and estimates for all development projects, responding to all audit issues, and working with the CI IT ATS Performance Assurance, CI IT Document Management, and application domain teams on all Documentum tasks. As a subject matter expert for Documentum, the candidate will be available to CI IT ATS for all incidents requiring in-depth knowledge of the platform to restore service. The candidate will also participate in on call rotations, release management rotations, and have knowledge of all Middleware products.

Responsibilities:
1. Performs hardware and software installation and upgrades.
2. Monitors system performance and capacity; reports changes in usage.
3. Forecasts system demands, recommends upgrades, expansion and reconfiguration.
4. Troubleshoots hardware and software problems, takes appropriate corrective action and/or interacts with IT staff or vendors in performing complex testing, support and troubleshooting functions.
5. Participates in site set-up, user training, hardware/software installation, maintenance and support and documentation of hardware/software logs and operating procedures.
6. Coordinates basic user administration (adds, changes, deletes, disk space management, backups and file restores).
7. Provides technical guidance and assists in training of less experienced administrators.
8. Assists in management functions in the absence of the manager or may act as a project manager for major projects.
9. Facilitates team work process and meetings and provides training to clients or teams during implementation.
10. Depicts highly complex ideas, issues and designs to varied audiences. Communications project objectives, scope and direction across project teams.
11. Performs related duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications:
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and a minimum of 7 years'' experience in system operations and administration, telecommunications network installation, operation and maintenance or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Requires an extensive knowledge of operating environments; technologies span mainframe, midrange, desktop, server, network data, voice, messaging, web, and database. Strong consultative and communications skills, analytical ability, judgment and the ability to work effectively with client and other systems technical staff, consultants and vendors. Highly developed communication, negotiation, presentation and consensus building skill required. Thorough knowledge of business objectives, strategies and operations required.
