Group Benefits Claims Financial Services is searching for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will participate in and manage complex financial analysis reporting activities and participate in operational improvement initiatives, to include presenting your findings to senior management. This is a unique opportunity to apply your technical and financial skills, business acumen, problem-solving skills, and superior communication abilities to support Group Benefits' profit and growth strategies.


Responsibilities:
Assist with monthly financial reporting, including the creation of strategic presentations, for corporate financial.
Conduct financial analysis and reconciliations related to financial functions.
Participate in cross-functional/departmental projects of moderate to high scope and complexity, and assist in defining project scope and prioritization.
Proactively identify opportunities for efficiencies and improvements to processes, controls and technology systems related to functions being performed.
Support continuous improvement through leadership of or participation in process improvement initiatives.
Participate in initiatives to drive operational performance and strategic objectives.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (Finance or Accounting concentration preferred) or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 3 years' financial/analytical experience. Experience in a claims case management environment highly preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to quickly grasp new ideas and analyze data with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to clearly communicate complex financial information to a variety of audiences in an easy-to-understand manner, both verbally and in writing.
Highly motivated and able to function in the absence of complete information.
Strong Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint expertise.
