It is our belief that providing a combination of experiences, including age-appropriate, typical, adolescent activities and therapeutic, support activities will help the youth become more engaged, active members of the community.
We are hiring for two positions following either a Sunday-Wednesday (Sun 10a-10p, Mon 2-10p, Tues 2-10p, and Weds 11a-11p/8a-8p), or a Wednesday-Saturday (Weds 11a-11p/8a-8p, Thurs 2-10p, Fri 2-10p, Sat 10a-10p) schedule.
Availability of either schedule is pending program needs and skill set of candidate.
The Youth Support Specialist is responsible for the oversight of daily activities, needs and safety of all residents.
The Youth Support Specialist is responsible for assessing the needs of youth and communicating observations and needs to the treatment team.
This position reports directly to the assigned Residential Coordinator.
All staff at Dover Children's Home must have a valid driver's license for the past 3 years and must be 21 years of age or older by the start of their employment.
