Release Of Information a.
All faxes and phone requests and inquiries for the patient information through all caregivers, insurance companies, billing departments and patients to be handled appropriately according to electronic medical record guidelines, this including the burning of information to CD's.
All completed in a timely manner.
Birth Certificates.
Upon request you are to complete birth certificates and submit electronically to the State of New Hampshire, making sure all pertinent data required by the State of New Hampshire is placed to the worksheet.
This is all to be completed in an appropriate time designated by the State of New Hampshire.
a.
All designated documents pertaining to Birth Certificates must be scanned in to the electronic medical record in a timely manner.
Filing/Storage of Records.
Tracks record entry and exit from both the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Medical Records Department and WHP, Wentworth Health Professionals Medical Records Department, from any off-site storage locations per departmental policies and procedures in order to maintain control and accountability of record location/status at all times.
a.
Pack and prep retired paper records for shipment to and storage at Iron Mountain, offsite medical records storage contractor, per departmental and Iron Mountain policies and procedures.
b.
Recall and re-process boxes of records from storage at offsite facility, per departmental policies and procedures.
Records for Audits/Auditors.
Pull records for audits and assure the auditor is given the appropriate access to only the view that is necessary for them to complete their audit according to the electronic medical record security set up in all electronic medical records applications.
Pre-Loads, post-Loads and retires paper medical records per organization policies and procedures.

Pre-loads and post-loads medical records into NextGen with 100% accuracy based on departmental and /or practice guidelines.
a.
Retires paper medical records per departmental policies and procedures within WDH medical records and WHP medical records.
Viewing or scanning in medical documentation must be appropriately guided by policies and procedures verifying accurate filing based on the identification system of name and date of birth.

Scans medical documentation utilizing ICS application and Soarian EDM, ensuring scanned documents can be read and are complete (no missing pages, placed in appropriate file and under appropriate encounter number) Processes incoming mail for both WDH medical records and WHP medical records.

Receives, opens and sorts mail appropriately for each section based on departmental policies and procedures.
Attends at Least 90% of staff meetings.

Actively participates in staff meetings and other ad hoc departmental meetings.
a.
Initiates, participates, supports and/or assists in the implementation of process improvement initiatives.
Complies with facility's policies regarding absenteeism and tardiness, policy HR-13.
Responsible for exercising regular and punctual attendance.
Experience Minimum Required 3 years of medical records experience and 1 year electronic medical records experience.
Experience Preferred/Desired 2 years of NextGen EMR experience and 4 years of general medical records experience.
Education Minimum Required Associate degree; High school or equivalent GED Education Preferred/Desired Associate degree; high school diploma, training in medical terminology.
Training Minimum Required Knowledge of medical records procedures and computer applications Training Preferred/Desired Knowledge of medical records work procedures, NextGen EMR, Soarian EDM, Soarian Clinicals and Soarian Financials.
Special Skills Minimum Required Strong computer skills; Basic medical terminology; Ability to organize work priorities adn meet specific objectives under time constraints; Ability to multi-task; Strong interpersonal skills; Ability to interact with persons of varying backgrounds and education.
Recommended Skills Auditing Billing Business Process Improvement Community Health Electronic Dance Music (Edm) Filing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
