Our client is looking for a Network Support Technician to be responsible for the operation and maintenance for switches, routers, wireless equipment, Windows Servers, and related office systems. This individual will also be responsible for working with network and systems engineers on maintenance,
repair
, and upgrades of the infrastructure hardware.
Other responsibilities include wiring and cabling, capital equipment inventory, network cabling and patch panel documentation.
24x7 on call rotation
Qualifications
Associates degree in an Information Technology area or equivalent experience :
1
years experience required as a Network or Datacenter Administrator.
Cisco CCENT or CCNA certification preferred.
Working knowledge of Ethernet switching required.
Extensive knowledge of proper cable management and wiring practices are required.
