Liberty Mutual Personal Insurance IT is actively searching for a Data Architect. Personal Insurance IT supports the Personal Insurance business unit which ranks #6 in personal auto and property premium. We are a market leader in distribution capabilities, offering customers unrivaled access to our products and services through multiple channels. In this position, youprovide technical management and systems solutions to large, strategic, complex system development projects involving multiple platforms, distributed processing, multi-tier client server and web-based applications.
Demonstrated experience defining, architecture roadmaps and business case and implementations for MDM and RDM.

Strong understanding of Informatica MDM concepts including, but not limited to:
Data cleansing
Trust and validation design and configuration
Match Rules Tuning
Service Integration Framework on Informatica MDM 9.1 and later
Performance tuning
User Exits
IDD applications and workflow
Experience in integrating external business application with Informatica MDM hub using Batch process, SIF and message queues
Knowledge of Informatica's MDM roadmap and a deep understanding of the pros/cons of different versions.
Experience with MDM/Data Governance/Data Quality strategy desired
May lead teams, may have overall leadership responsibility for project architecture and design.
Provides consultation to Market CIO, business partners and peer groups regarding long and short-range business requirements. Recommends innovations, which anticipate the future direction of the business, its drivers and technology strategy.
Reviews and ensures major architectural designs are consistent, maintainable, flexible and cost effective.
Works with application teams to identify functional requirements that drive security technology that enables business functionality.
Develop security architectural strategies and direction which all the business to deliver new customer engagement models.
Participate with application and infrastructure design architects to provide security overlays for development and deployment patterns.
Develops strategies and architectures which support advanced security topics such as Vulnerability Lifecycle Management, Identity Management, Intrusion Detection, Authentication, Authorization and Auditing.
Consult with application development and infrastructure development project teams to fit systems to architecture, and identify when it is necessary to modify the technical architecture to accommodate project needs.
Responsible for prototyping complex, cross platform business solutions to validate newer technologies. Recommends emerging technological solutions to increase market share and reduce operational costs.
Analyzes the technology industry and market trends to determine potential impact on the business.
Influences technology direction and/or adjustments to incorporate these into business plans.
Influences the selection of hardware and software product standards and the design of standard configurations; makes significant contributions to market-centric technology roadmaps and architectural principles.
Actively participates in selected enterprise projects working closely with architects from other markets as well as from Hosting Services.
Develops and manages effective working relationships with other departments, groups, peers, and subordinates.
Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in technical discipline; Master''s preferred. 10 years of architecture experience in applications development in a complex, multi-platform distributed environment.
Requires prior experience as a Data Architect in large and complex environments and Strong project background with Data Architect / Data Modeling.
5 yrs of Informatica MDM project implementation experience in end-to-end MDM implementation including requirement gathering, architecture, development/configuration and deployment etc. Projects should include batch and real time data acquisition.Experience in integrating data quality tools (e.g. Trillium , Informatica ETL) with Informatica MDM
Extensive experience in layered solutions and designs, diverse technical configurations, across multiple technologies and processing environments
In-depth knowledge in software engineering languages and tools; proficient in new and emerging technologies.
Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
Extensive knowledge of all components of technical architecture.
In-depth understanding of business operations, objectives and strategies including but not limited to, insurance industry, financial services, global business and technology trends.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
