Job Summary
Receives general direction and is competent to work at the highest level of analysis and design of logical data base designs, data models and relational data base definitions in support of corporate and client area information systems requirements. Provides technical guidance to staff. Directly responsible for the data deliverables for projects or subprojects of significant technical complexity. Leads the data deliverable portion of projects, including developing project plans, assigning tasks and facilitating team. Performs data modeling studies and develops detailed data models. Works with client and IT management and staff to establish and maintain consistent data element definitions across computing environments. Creates and implements systems, technical and product standards and procedures.
Job Responsibilities
1. Lead Integration Steward to work with domain teams to ensure Service Interactions are complete and up to satandard. Will play a key role in Integration Governanace.
2. Participates in the evaluation of complex business requirements.
3. Transforms common system requirements into data models, according to architecture for shared and reusable services - designs are generic and of broad scope; models data solutions across projects according to architecture, technology and standards.
4. Identifies and consults on high complexity data structure and/or data content issues; designs effective data solutions.
5. Depicts highly complex ideas, issues and data designs to varied audiences; communicates project data objectives, scope and direction across project teams.
6. Acts as principal project data architecture designer and reviewer for 1 or more project teams and makes major data architectural decisions; responsible for education within IT unit on all dimensions of data architecture.
7. Coordinates database changes within context of overall configuration management process.
8. Supports development team throughout project lifecycle, including during test phase; researches test issues and data content, and assists with problem resolution.
9. Investigates and makes final recommendations on new tools and techniques; collaborates on hardware/software evaluations.
10. Performs related duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications
Bachelors or Master''s degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent expertise. Generally a minimum of 8 years related experience. Thorough knowledge in the following areas; IT concepts, strategies and methodologies, thorough knowledge of IT diverse technologies and new data architecture principles and concepts, thorough understanding of layered systems architectures and layered solutions and designs, business function(s) and IT industry business issues; extensive knowledge of business operations, strategies and objectives. Highly Proficient in SQL and DBMS languages and tools; ability to apply data management principles on multiple platforms. Requires Strong negotiation, facilitation, consensus building, and communication and presentation skills

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
