Liberty Mutual Insurance Information Technology is actively searching for an experienced Oracle Developer who will leverage technology to develop business solutions within the insurance industry. In this role, under limited supervision, you will participate as a technical expert in analysis, design, coding, testing, and debugging new software or significant enhancements to existing Oracle application software in the Oracle Application Framework (OAF) to achieve desired results and document appropriate aspects of those deliverables. Develop and enhance complex systems and/or software from general requirements and specifications. Analyze complex technical system problems. Lead projects or subprojects and coordinate rollouts of moderate scope. May provide coaching and guidance to other team members.

Responsibilities:
Performs complex source code development.
Assists in complex unit test case development.
Develops complex test scripts.
Assists in the development of production support documentation.
Provides functional/system integration testing support.
Performs Quality Assurance coding and design review.
Conducts complex impact analysis.
Develops complex component design.
Provides complex system / application architecture.
Contributes complex technical alternatives.
Participates in the development of guidelines and standards.
Monitors, troubleshoots, analyzes and resolves database and application issues within the Oracle HRMS configuration
Collaborates on the development of technical and security standards with other database administrators and technical resources.
Provides consultation to application developers in SQL coding and tuning, and coding and deployment of stored procedures.
Qualifications:
o o 5 years experience developing distributed applications using Oracle, Java or .Net.
o o 5 years experience building large transactional operational type systems. Experience with the Oracle HRMS (HR, Payroll) eBusiness suite is highly desired. Experience with Oracle Database, SQL Server, or IBM DB Solutions.
o o Sound understanding of Oracle architecture and experience in HR, Payroll and Self Service Modules
o o Experience with JDeveloper/ OA Framework.
o o Experience using Oracle Developer tools viz. Forms Builder, Reports Builder, Workflow Builder and experience using TOAD.
o o Experience with Databases - Oracle 10g/11g.
o o Extensive Experience in designing/developing PL/SQL packages and experience using Oracle API''s
o o Basic Unix/Linux and shell script skills
o o Knowledge and use of SDLC(Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies, standards, and procedures with experience in promoting database changes from development through production environment
o o Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and solve complex PL/SQL issues, and the ability to reverse engineer existing PL/SQL code into functional requirements.
o o Ability to create functional requirements and technical designs from business requirements, and effectively communicate technical decisions to non-technical staff.
o o Experience with OBIEE and BI Publisher a plus.
o o Experience in performance tuning.a plus
o o Bachelor''s degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
