As a Sr. Business Project Coordinator in the Commercial Insurance Product Systems Project Management Office (PMO), you will play a critical role in a highly visible and complex portfolio of programs and projects. You will be accountable for supporting Program Managers, Project Managers and Program leaders with day to day deliverables, activities & tasks that enable programs and projects to successfully deliver our commitments.
You will also have the ability to learn from other like-minded business project professionals who are involved in supporting Commercial Insurance Product Systems within the Project Management Discipline.
Within the PMO, Sr. Business Project Coordinators focus on supporting Project Leads, Project and Program Managers and have a defined career path for exciting and challenging project management work. Our team works in alignment with both our business and IT partners to support tools & methodology development and to provide repeatable high-quality project & process support to our customers.
Responsibilities:

Create & update project artifacts in support programs and projects within the portfolio.

Monitor completion of projects or assignments made by the Program or Project Manager.

Plan, track & analyze business resource demand / capacity.

Maintain project CBAs and complete financial data entry, reporting & analysis.

Provide ideas and insight into how to improve project related processes or solutions.

Share information and educate project teams and/or groups regarding standards, policies and procedures.

Facilitate communication of project updates, changes, risks and issues throughout business unit.

Create or maintain reports that provide information to managers and project managersMaintain systems or tools that support portfolio, program or project management including Excel, IBM Rational Team Concert and Microsoft SharePoint.

Prepare meeting materials, facilitate project related forums, capture meeting minutes and complete actions and follow-ups.
Qualifications:
2-4 years' experience in a Project Coordinator / Business Analyst capacity with exposure to business analysis, planning, budgeting, cost benefit analysis, data entry, computer & tools usage.
Bachelor's degree or 5 years equivalent experience in the insurance industry.
Strong interest in the Project Management discipline & desire to grow and enhance the profession at Liberty Mutual.
Excellent communication skills; able to clearly and concisely communicate verbally and in writing with team members and executive stakeholders applying tact and situational awareness.
Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and technologies (S/W tools) and adapt to changes and demands in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Great attitude in high pressure situations - ability to prioritize work and seek direction when required.
Excellent at building relationships with others to enable delivery of successful outcomes.
Ability to balance and prioritize tasks, tactics, action plans and deliverables and effectively communicate status at the appropriate audience level.
Strong problem solving skills with a focus on figuring it out and working the problem.
Experience working with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project & SharePoint) - ability to learn tools quickly.
