Liberty Mutual Commercial Insurance IT is actively searching for a Senior Software Developer to join the Data Management team. Commercial Insurance IT supports the Commercial Insurance business group which is the fourth largest commercial insurer in the Insurance IT leverages strengths to continue to simplify operationsand invest in new technologies that provide competitive advantage. In this position, you willparticipate as technical expert in analysis, design, coding, testing, and debugging new software or significant enhancements to existing software to achieve desired results and documents appropriate aspects of those deliverables. Develop and enhance complex systems and/or software from general requirements and specifications. Analyze complex technical system problems. Lead projects or subprojects and coordinates rollouts of moderate scope. May provide coaching and guidance to other team members.
Responsibilities:
Performs complex source code development.
Performs complex data analysis.
Assists in complex unit test case development.
Develops complex test scripts.
Assists in the development of production support documentation.
Provides functional/system integration testing support.
Performs Quality Assurance coding and design review.
Conducts complex impact analysis.
Develops complex component design.
Provides complex system / application architecture.
Contributes to complex technical alternatives.
Participates in the development of Build and Deployment guide and script.
Participates in the development of guidelines and standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Master's Degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
Generally 5 years of professional experience.
Informatica and Java development experience required.
Data warehouse or data-integration experience required.
Extensive knowledge of IT concepts, strategies and methodologies.
Extensive knowledge of a business function(s) and of business operations.
Extensive knowledge of database design and development tools.
Extensive knowledge of architectures and technical standards.
Extensive knowledge of layered systems architectures and layered solutions and designs; extensive understanding of shared software concepts.
Proficient in multiple programming languages and tools.
Negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills; presentation skills.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
